Efficacy of Pranayam as propagated by Swami Ramdev

Accidently , in the year 2001, I happened to  tune into  a TV channel where a young looking, saffron clad, bearded  Swamiji was preaching breathing exercises & yoga. I watched his programme for 2-3 minutes and switched but his confidence & belief in what he was teaching left an imprint.

I remained busy with my regular military regimen and totally forgot about Swamiji and his teachings till 2003 when got  posted to Srinagar (J&K). By that time Swamiji had gained popularity and become a familiar face on tube.

I started practising Pranayam as taught by baba Ramdev, regularly. Though I was and am physically fit without any kind of medical problems, I experienced enhanced energy levels, better work output and overall high  feel good coefficient. To be very frank I have not experienced any miraculous effects like removal of specs etc. inspite of regular practise but am of firm opinion that it keeps you healthy, mentally fit, alert and energetic.
